Haemaphysalis

There are 155 known species of Haemaphysalis worldwide (including H. leachi or yellow dog tick), three of which are present in Europe: the most common specie is H. punctata (red sheep tick), although H. inermis (winter tick) and H. concinna (relict tick) can also be found.
